and I-10, is a suburban neighborhood approximately 20 miles East of
Houston known for its recreational boating, water sports of all
sorts, fishing and watching great sunsets!

A lot of you have been around long enough to remember the old SJRA. We had a great grass roots enviromental activist group made up of our neighbors in both Rio Villa and Banana Bend. We accomplished a lot that helped protect our way of live on this river - and collected these great photos, educational materials, and news articles along the way.
